Behind the scenes tour of one of Edinburgh’s most-well recognised houses to learn more about the Cottage and the Ross Fountain and the Quaich Project’s plans to reimagine West Princes Street Gardens as a space for all in the heart of Edinburgh. Come along to this years Diwali Celebrations, an initiative by the Lord Provost of Edinburgh to bring Diwali-Festival of Lights, the most famous Indian Festival to Edinburgh so that the mainstream community can share, participate and celebrate the Victory of Good over Evil. Dancing, music, foodstalls and lights. All welcome, free entry
The Edinburgh Diwali parade leaves City Chambers on The Royal Mile at 2.00pm on Saturday 3 November. The programme of events on the Ross Bandstand starts at 4.15pm and the Firework Finale is at 7.00pm.
