Edinburgh Garden and Field of Remembrance, East Princes Street Gardens
Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day, commemorates the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and of civilians in times of war. The garden of remembrance will display wreaths, military crosses with Poppy Scotland information booths on site.
The opening ceremony will be held on 30th October with the laying of wreaths by Lord Provost, MPs/MSP's, dignitaries and veterans. The Armistice Service will take place on the 11th November.

Annual Duck Race – Plastic ducks are released down the burn and the winner receives a prize.

Outdoor dinosaur event with life-sized animatronic dinosaur models with moving parts and sound effects. Tour lasts for 45 minutes. This is a car free event.
