The nature of the course means entry is kept to a relatively small field of entry which also ensures a fun and friendly atmosphere.
A great race for novices and experienced ultra runners alike, the challenge is there for all who wish to push themselves and experience both the historic and vibrant cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow and the scenic lands that lie between them. The race starts in Ruchill Park, Glasgow and has checkpoints approximately every 10 miles. The course is approximately 55 miles long and after leaving Glasgow is predominantly rural and off road until reaching Edinburgh.Runners will be expected from 2.30 until 9pm
