The World's Big Sleep Out
The charity Social Bite presents The World’s Big Sleep Out, a global campaign that aims to see 50,000 people all over the world sleep out on the 7th December 2019 to raise a target of £50,000,000 for homelessness and refugee causes worldwide.
Edinburgh's event, hosted in West Princes Street Gardens will run from early evening until 10.30pm, participants will need to register first before taking part.
The stage show will run from early evening until 10:30pm followed by “bedding-down” for the overnight sleepout, Good Morning Breakfast serviced from 6am
A selection of food vendors located within the gardens, open throughout the evening selling hot food, teas and coffees. For safety reasons this is a dry event with no alcohol serviced or permitted into the event arena.

Bairns Afore Concert is a children’s entertainment show held in the Ross Bandstand with a firework finale for families ahead of main concert.
Doors at 16.00; Entertainment 17:00 – 18:00. With fireworks at 17:45.
The Ceilidh under the Castle begins at 8.30pm and the Concert in the Gardens at 9pm. For more details go to the website.
